Man days like today are really great...Number one...the announcement of your favourite band coming to your hometown is always a great start...That`s right ladies and gentelmen the greatest and most underrated canadian rock act Sloan is coming to no other then the usual shithole which is also known as The Drink...why there coming here again...I have no idea..I mean they hate playing there...Chris even told me after they played there last time ( they also said in a Chartattack interview years ago, during the Navy Blues area that The Drink in London Ontario is the worst place they`ve played) so why do they keep coming back??..who cares..there coming damn it!!!...Woo Hoo...I wonder who`s opening?..anyway`s thank you Scene magazine for that wonderfull news...Scene is also a good reason why days like today are good...Do you know that Scene magazine (london`s free arts and entertainment paper) has been telling me when Sloan has been coming to town now for about 10 yrs now!..Crazy Eh....not really...but here`s something that I find a little crazier. Matt Murphy (who is the frontman for another Halifax pop outfit...The Superfriendz) writer of such classics as Karate Man, and 10lbs. Is now an actor...and is starring in a new movie called The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico. Other big names include Kris Kristoferson (Blade) and George Stroumboulopoulos (ex Muchmusic VJ...name is impossible to type BTW)..so hopefully it will be relased here or on DVD becuase I`d love to check that out....to read an article on the movie go HERE. Man TV was crazy again tonight...mmk maybe not so much O.C. but man I can`t believe Trump fired 2 people from The Apprentice...the season is gonna be done next week if he keeps getting rid of people. I don`t even think the season will last till Christmas. One last and VERY IMPORTANT thing that I will leave you with is me and Patricia nominated The Spyes (my band) and Mac Graham (Mark McCauley) for the London Music Awards.
