Everyonce in awhile a record will come by in your life, when you listen to the album just once...or you hear a clip of a song and you really feel the music...and you can`t explain it...but for some reason you love it..that`s where Laura Veirs comes in...nuthing real special...I assumed it was just another Fiona Apple or Bjork commin my way....nope!! and her new CD called Year Of Mentors doesn`t dissapoint at all...its the perfect mix for me in fact...it reminds me a lot of Lisa Loeb meets Death Cab for Cutie...plus she uses a fender rhodes for a bunch of tunes...which is my fav instrument of all time...grab a listen if u can...its good "chill" music.Got a glimpse of the new King Kong movie staring Jack Black...looks crazy...King Kong looks very very real...I just hope the plot doesn`t dissapoint..sometimes with blockbusters, they put more money into visual effects and forget about the story entirely. ...and the best for last of course...Prison Break..tonight was the first time i`ve ever seen a "live" episode..with like real commercials and shit (i usudownload the episodes) and that was great as usual...like the show dissapoints or something...aally lso there comes a time in everyman`s life where he hates to admit when something is good...so i`m gonna admit this quickly and get it over with ...i like the new linsay lohan single.... about dad`s....ok hopefully u read right over that one...but yeah its decent..the chorus mainly....CN SONG OF THE DAY = Laura Veirs - Secret Someones
