Steady your ears, steady your ears.....and read my lips!
How`s that for crazy/funny photo`s...thank you Patricia....So I must apologize for the incorrect information that I gave ya a couple days ago. It turns out that Fiona Apple won`t be opening up for Coldplay on the new TO date. Instead we get ex Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft (yeah u remember the tune Bittersweet Symphony..which the band made no royalties off of because the song was written by The Rolling Stones)....I still would have liked to see Mrs Apple...but beggars can`t be choosers I guess..Another thing I`m very very excited about is tommorrow marks yet another Harry Potter movie to go see...The whole Arts & Entertainment section of the London Free Press was about the movie...They had recent pictures from the England premiere and wow I can`t believe how old the kids in the movie are..see for yourself...whoops...ok back to music for a second..I also was reading today that Nada Surf is coming back to Toronto in March...which is exciting...you might remember them as the guys that sang "popular" back in the day..TV will be quick tonight...the reason being because I thought that tonight`s episode of the O.C. was very predictable...The band that played at the Bait Shop was The Subways..which at the time I had never herd of, but I took the girlfriends advise and downloaded some songs when I got home, and to be quite honest its OK...but not really O.C. material...come on O.C. you can do better then that...ok i`ll let this one slide....as well as The Apprentice...I knew that Clay was gone...Common that was a no brainer....nobody liked him or wanted him on there team....now to end this off I feel I have to explain further the comparisons I made about Coldplay and U2...basically its simple..I don`t think that the two can be compared but they are very similar and I will say that I believe that Coldplay is the U2 of our generation...having said that I will leave ya with my "Music Creed". Music is to be respected at all costs, weither it be classical, hip-hop, country, indie rock, or even death metal. You might not like a particular group or song which is normal. But always respect the art, the creative side. Example...I could say that I believe that Metalica is one of my least favourite bands (sorry Paul) ...But that`s because I hate the band members..(long story) I respect them as musicians though..and I`ll admit some of there songs are kinda catchy...but I wouldn`t say they suck ...cause they don`t...there popular for a reason. Oh and always be willing to give songs a chance...if you don`t like a song that`s fine...but you won`t know unless you give it a try..Like BJ always says..."Try everything once" CN
The Tah Dahs - The cute band
(another song for ya to download...I don`t know what it is about this song but I love it)
