125 Albums That Should Be In Your Collection 10-15
MATTHEW JAY - Draw Aug 28, 2001 Capitol Its too bad Matthew died back in September 2003. I never did find out if it was suicide or murder, but I wish we woulda had a few more albums from this young lad from the UK..At least we have Draw to remember him by. Matthew Jay - You're Always Going Too Soon Matthew Jay - Become Yourself Matthew Jay - Call My Name Out Matthew Jay - Four Minute Rebellion LEMONHEADS - Car Button Cloth Oct 15, 1996 Atlantic My favourite album by The Lemonheads..I find this album to be very fun and it always put me in a good mood..I especially like the album art and the song Hospital.. The Lemonheads - The Outdoor Type The Lemonheads - Hospital The Lemonheads - If I Could Talk I`d Tell You The Lemonheads - C`mon Daddy FOO FIGHTERS - Self Titled Jul 4, 1995 Roswell/Capitol Two things I love about this album...1- Dave Grohl plays every instrument on this album, which requires a lot of talent...2- For the most part I can`t understand a word he sings and I think that`s great...I used to know how to play this whole album on guitar..now I can only remember a few songs...this is still my favourite Foo`s disk by far. Foo Fighters - Big Me Foo Fighters - X-Static Foo Fighters - Oh George Foo Fighters - Exhausted Foo Fighters - I`ll Stick Around PLACEBO - Without You I`m Nothing Nov 3, 1998 Virgin This is the album that got me started into Placebo.. I`ll admit I never herd of them before until I saw the movie Cruel Intentions. I love how the album is poppy yet has very sad lyrics...Its kind-of an oxymoron! Placebo - You Dont Care About Us Placebo - Every You, Every Me Placebo - Brick Shithouse Placebo - Pure Morning Placebo - Allergic (To Thougts of Mother Earth) THE TRAGICALLY HIP - Fully Completly 1993 MCA This is probably the number one anthem for high-way driving. All you have to do is get in your car and listen to tracks 1-12 and your guarenteed to have a good road trip. I`m always reminded of the highway whenever I hear this CD. The Tragically Hip - Fully Completely The Tragically Hip - Courage The Tragically Hip - Locked In The Trunk Of A Car The Tragically Hip - Looking For A Place To Happen The Tragically Hip - Fifty Mission Cap |

Great music blog! I didn't realize Matthew Jay was dead. I picked up the CD in a used bin for $1 and really enjoyed it. I'd never heard Placebo. Really enjoying the tracks you posted. Thanks for turning me on to them! Cheers, Gary
