how many albums did they have, how many songs were number 1? other than wonderwall, lol.

well, while songs like Hindu Times, Go Let It Out, Don't Go Crying Your Heart Out, and Lyla were tops of the charts in the UK, us moronic americans were tuning into Justin Timberlake, Simple Plan, and Taking Back Sunday. You can't fault our bad taste for them not having #1 hits here in the states. This collection shows 2 things
1) a great band... with album upon album of terrific songs
2) Noel Gallagher is a truly underappreciated talent. (Almost all these tracks are Noel performing solo). Fans who attended the tours supporting Morning Glory and the dreaded "D Ya Know What I mean" album will tell you that the highlights of those shows were Noel accoustic sets.

cheers, good call on the tunes. the acoustic stuff is amazingly different than studio and it deserves to be out there as well
