A Chick's Mix
| Hello everyone it's Patricia... I thought I'd give Chris the day off and make a post of my own. This will be post #2 for me on Neileslife so cut me some slack if it sucks. This will probably be a long post, but I have a few days to cover. This weekend was very fun... Friday night Chris, BJ, Mike & I went to Ribfest! mmm we got the Boss Hog ribs from Athens, Georgia and it was awesome. We went to see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby after and it was really funny... I originally thought it was just kinda funny but then I was reminded that I was probably just bitter cause we were in the 2nd row of Silvercity and I agreed... so yeah, it was funny.  Saturday night was SLOOOOOAAAAANNNNNN at Balloon Fest and it was awesome... we had a poker game before and Chris won and managed to get really hammered at the same time (notice the autographed SLOAN t-shrit LOL). Mike and I were the loudest, most excited people there... too bad we didn't go actually inside the fenced-in concert area.  Even though we were only like 30 ft from the band this woman thought she should use binoculars the WHOLE TIME. We are mean, I know.Sloan played a great set... mostly all oldies with the new single thrown in there. I met the band Mobile after... they were nice guys too bad we didn't get to see their show... but we did hear 2 of their songs on the walk to the park. I got my pic taken with them:  On Sunday we went to Matt Mays and El Torpedo @ Balloon Fest.. he played a fairly short show but it was good... Pretty much the same as the past 2 times we've seen them... I didn't get a pic of Matt but here's one of the group that I took: So that's the weekend... Monday was a day of much-needed rest... well for me anyways... Chris had to work :( but I did go FISHING with Mike and Erik which was funny cause I have been fishing like 3 times ever but it was fun! I will leave you with a mix of some songs on my Ipod right now... I have a ZIP file at the end if you want them all for a mix cd or something. Oh, and sorry about the Justin but I love him... although his stuff with the Neptunes was much better, this song is growing on me! I`m not sure what all the fighting is about...I think Madamba would make a great name. Aslo, I would liket o say that this was a very nice blog entry!! I love the switch up in posting especially when this would have been a big weekend for Chrissy!!
