SSSLLOOOAANNN!!!

Ok so I don`t know when I became a professional photographer but apparently I got some really good photos from last nights SLOAN adventure. The upside of having a blog that`s dedicated %90 to Indie Rock is that you get to bitch about anything ya want to basically....having said that I now believe that London is probably the worst town for supporting Canadian acts!! I gotta give credit to the Sloan boys though...and I believe this is why they are my favourite band of all time...even though the drink had an small yet enthousiastic crowd the Sloan boys ripped threw a rockin hr set. Playing such classics as Coax Me and Everything You`ve Done Wrong, yet playing a few even I have never herd live. Highlight of the night was seeing Chris and Andrew sing "Before I do" which is one of those songs that you just know would sound better if you herd it live then compared to on record. It was awesome...I also enjoyed Take It In...which Chris forgot the first verse but still managed to sound like he knew what he was singing about...what a goof...Andrew looked like my grandpa as usual...and with 3 outta 4 guys having grey hair now I realized that after 15 yrs as a band and going threw multiple ups and downs with label changes and money issues I realized Good For Them!!....after all they`ve been threw and they can still come to a shithole like the drink and rock my socks off...Excellent...Found a crazy song today, its a Nirvana cover actually sung by the band I was talking about yesterday Rogue Wave, you can get it here.
