TOP ALBUMS OF 2007 (10-6)

10 - JOHN VANDERSLICE - Emerald City John`s albums are always an interesting listen..The production is always so slick (I guess that comes with owning your own studio). A lot of people found his lyrics about 911 annoying (cause he did it on Pixal Revolt too) but not me..I actually perfer it...My only complaint is that the album is too short...only 9 songs!! 9 - LCD SOUNDSYSTEM - Sound Of Silver Anything James Murphy puts out these days seems to make me wanna dance....Sound Of Silver no different...I`m glad everyone else diggs it too....Its on a lot of year end lists....and it just got nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album. 8 - !!! - Myth Takes At first this album didn`t really catch on with me...It took a few listens....and then I found myself not being able to rip the damn CD out of the player...!!! (Chk Chk Chk for all you newbies) are on a roll...First no one has herd of them...Now their songs are on Tony Hawk and Fifa games...I bought a kick ass shirt when I saw em live...If I had a list of Favourite t-shirts....it would be #1 7 - PINBACK - Autumn Of The Seraphs This record is soo easy to enjoy...Defiantly their best to date...and another band I`m glad I saw live this year. Zack Smith has such an interesting way of playing bass...I have Grooves (record store in London) to thank for getting me into this album.. 6 - THE GO FIND - Stars On The Wall If I were ever to make a solo record, I would want it to sound something like this album.
