Brood & Creed

It got a little blurry last night at the Elliott Brood concert.....or Broodster as we call him in our camp (not really). I was sweatin to the oldies too...whatsup with this +25 weather in October? Anyway the Broodster played a good set, I had never seen him live before....and I wasn`t expecting such a loud sound out of 3 guys...1 with a banjo, the other playing acoustic guitar and bass (with his feet) and then a drummer Steve Pitkin (Who I happen to recognize from the old Flashing Lights)  I think I found the best record today. Its an old Grass Roots LP.....WTF is The Grass Roots?...Well let me explain. I`m a huge Office fan and as it turns out the character Creed Bratton (real name) used to play in this band "The Grass Roots".   Its very 60`s rock...but I laugh whenever I see the record....I had to take shots with the digi...sorry I couldn`t find any album art on the net...CN Elliott Brood - Second Sun Elliott Brood - Wolfgang The Flashing Lights - Highschool The Flashing Lights - Where Do The Days Go?
