THE WEAKERTHANS - Reconstruction Site
Sep 26, 2003
The thing I love most about this album is that every song sounds like a different genre of music..There are some uptempo punk numbers, songs with an electric slide, slow folk tunes, and some regular pop/rock...

POISON - Flash & Blood
Jun 21, 1990
Lots of great 80`s hairbands came out in that decade we`re all ashamed of...My favourite "hairband" was Poison...and yes I know this album wasn`t released until 1990 (so it really doesn`t count as an 80`s album) but Poison is still an 80`s act..My aunt Patty introduced me to Poison..so this album reminds me of her..and everytime I hear the band Poison..

THE HEAVY BLINKERS - The Night And I Are Still So Young
There are so many good things about this band..1-They are from Halifax, 2-They are signed to one of Canada`s greatest labels..Endearing, 3-They are a happy upbeat Indie/Pop outfit that tend to use lots of strings and horns in their music...ohh and the video for Try Telling That To My Baby...is hilarious!
