I think my goal this weekend was to spend as much time in the car as possible. And I think I reached my goal. Saturday night me and Patricia decided to take a road trip to Brampton to see the Meligrove Band. It has probably been 5 or 6 yrs since I`ve saw them at some shitty club in London…so needless to say I was looking forward to the event. We decided that we would stop by the Oakville mall for a bit before we went as well but by the time we arrived the mall had closed. So we headed on the 403 to Brampton to find something to eat and then go to the concert…Well looking for something to eat was impossible but we finally found a McDonalds..Ate and then headed to North Bramela Church to see the Meligroves who had just took the stage and were playing basically the whole Planets Conspire album...the vocals were a little off and the venue was very small and hott but overall they sounded good and I managed to grab a t-shirt and an LP for $20 dollars total…which was worth the drive in itself...Next on Sunday me and Patricia and Melissa headed to the States for a shopping adventure…I grabbed NCAA Basketball for PS2 (which can`t be bought in Canada) and the girls grabbed some snacks from Target and some perfume from Victoria Secret…here`s some pictures of some restaurants that can`t be found in Canada…CN Meligrove Band - Grasshoppers In Honey Meligrove Band - Everyones A Winner Meligrove Band - Isle Of Yew Meligrove Band - Planets Conspire Meligrove Band - Ages & Stages

Yours And Mine

First I would like to thank VH1 for giving me a shout out yesterday on there Best Week Ever blog, which is basically like Vh1`s entertainment guide. If you missed it the link to the article is Here..Next I have some pictures from a basketball game that I watched this evening. My friend Chris is the Coach of the Woodstock Red Devils bball team who won a nail biter of a game by 3 points...I must admit I didn`t think they were gonna win cause they were down most of the 3rd quarter but came back late in the 4th and pulled ahead and played out the rest of the game with hard defence. It was actually a very entertaining game and totally worth the 2 dollars admission for me and Patricia......I went and saw Andy Magoffin tonight at Alex P Keaton which was awesome...he has such a woody feel to his music...and as my buddy Luke said he sounds like a tree playing a guitar...which I thought was hilarious...also speaking of laidback acoustic pop...I`m really enjoying Calexico`s new material from the upcoming album Garden Ruin and if Ezshare behaves today I`ll share some new songs off that album...sorry If you were having trouble downloading yesterday I`m currently investigating that error and will have the Mp3`s up soon so keep checking back....CN Calexico - Cruel Calexico - Yours And Mine Calexico - Bisbee Blue Calexico - Panic Open String Calexico - Letter To Bowie Knife

Idiot Drivers!!!

I don`t dislike a lot of things in my life...In fact I would say a majority of the time I am pretty easy going..But there is one thing that pisses me off to no end.....And if you have ever stepped behind the wheel of a motor vehicle then you`ll know where I`m coming from. I can`t stand people that either pull over so they can see a number of a house, or a street sign, or if they pull over to the right at any time and slow down WITHOUT signaling.....It drives me nuts...If you are going to slow down and pull over to the right and check out a street # or name....Use the damn signal and let the people know behind you that you are going to be slowing down...Thanks...Now something special has happened to Neileslife tonight...I have upgraded my Ezshare account so I have waaaaay more room for mp3`s...so now I will be able to provide you with more songs and the older songs will be on the blog for a bit longer and not the standard week that they used to last...so to celebrate I have decided to give away all the tracks for what I can safely say is my Favourite EP Of All Time..The EP Puddin..by the band Best Kissers In The World, is one of those EP`s that you can listen to from start to finish...all the songs are catchy as hell and Gerald Collier vocals are easy to fall in love with...so get your download on cause this is a rare one to find anymore these days...enjoy!CN Best Kissers In The World - Melanie Best Kissers In The World - 60 Seconds Best Kissers In The World - Pickin Flowers Best Kissers In The World - Laughable Best Kissers In The World - Smoke Rings
