The new Jose Gonzalez record has taken a giant leap into the "Favourite Albums" column.....it totally blows the socks off Veneer, and that`s a great record too! There are some areas on Veneer that were a little bit of a snooze fest, but this new album "In Our Nature" is a pure folk gem. McLovin.......

Don`t know what`s in the blood today but I feel as though I have a lot to share with you. First I saw Superbad the other night and its worth all the Hype!!.....Its been awhile since I`ve been at a movie theater and laughed so hard that it was uncomfortable....and for those of you who have seen it, all I have to say is McLovin!... I found out the the film stars two Canadians as well. Michael Cera and Martha MacIsaac, who just happen to play each other`s crushes!.. The new Les Savy Fav album has been getting its share of plays this past week...I`m loving it. I was never a fan before so I can`t really pretend that I`ve been waiting for this forever (last album released in 2001)...Curious?...Picture Cold War Kids, meets Interpol....well that`s what I get anyway. Reunion Souvenirs

I`d like to give BIG props to Killbeat music for hooking me up with some awesome music this summer. The Details arrived yesterday in the mail. It then jumped outta the CD case and into my PC. The lead singer sounds like someone familiar, but I can`t put a name on it. Rogue Wave Saves The Earth

I have given the new Rogue Wave album about 3-4 listens now and am loooving it!!...I think Zach Rogue`s voice and an acoustic guitar were made for each other. The new album Asleep At Heaven`s Gate (due out in Sept) is a little more up-tempo then Decended Like Vultures. I must admit I wasn`t too happy that they switched from Subpop to Jack Johnson`s Brushfire Records...at first...Sorry boys I was just a little worried that Jack`s sound would rub off on ya, but you pulled it off (I like to talk to the band as if they actually read this). Band Of Horses, Lee`s Palace......Again

I gotta say that Band Of Horses is one of the best live acts going these days. This is the second time I had see them at Lee`s Palace and they rocked the house....yet again. Even their new songs sounded amazing, and made me even more excited for their new album (called Cease To Begin and due out Oct 9). Me and Patricia got to hang out with the guys after, who are very humble and extremly nice. Flight Of The Conchords....Yet Again...

High School Favs

Two of my favourite artists in high school were Foo Fighters and Matthew Good....and what do ya know, they both have new material out right now.....The new song by Foo Fighters is outright awesome!!..Sounds very "Color And The Shape " which is not surprising considering Gil Norton is Producing the album (He also produced Color And The Shape).....   and I havn`t herd much of the new Matt Good, but from what I`ve herd...he`s up to his usual tricks...
