Who are Transistor Sound & Lighting Co.? Well they were an Indie Rock band from Winnipeg who released one album back in 1998. Jason Churko, Dino D'Ottavio were the core of Transistor Sound & Lighting Co. They opened for Treble Charger a few times and had their hit Anyways Mayonayse played on Muchmusic (back when Much was good). So I`ve been dancing like a fool lately with all this good electronic music inside my head...(Cue Justice Clip) also the new Chromeo album is a treat to listen to, and the single "Fancy Footwork" (Album title of the same name) is Funky with a capital F...While on the subject of "F"...Toronto`s own Holy Fuck is set to open up for !!! The New Moon......Part Two

I`ve been like a kid waiting for Christmas lately....The new Elliott Smith (Double CD / LP) album is being released on May 8th and I`m counting down the days until I get my copy...Although I have herd some of the tracks on the new album I have not allowed myself to hear the whole thing...I find with special albums like this, its best to wait until you have the official copy in order to enjoy the record at its fullest...I`m really excited to see if there will be any good liner notes, maybe explaining the dates and how the songs were recorded. Now I know this isn`t the first time I have talked about this album (HERE) but last time I dished out the unfinished and unedited copies of the tracks "Angel In The Snow", "Georgia" and "High Times"...well now I have the final editions...CN Elliott Smith - High Times

Kidz In The Hall

Its no big secret that there is a serious lack of Hip-Hop @ Neiles Life. Unfortunately Rap and Hip-Hop CD`s have taken an nose dive in sales over the last few years ("Though music sales are down overall, rap sales slid a whopping 21 percent from 2005 to 2006") This totally sucks and has frustrated me for awhile...Sorry guys but I`m tired of hearing about awesome Coke deals, Shooting peeps, and Sleeping with 1000`s of women....and I think you have too...Thankfully Kidz In The Hall are here....Now this album won`t revolutionize Hip-Hop music, or win Grammy`s but it certainly is a Breath of fresh air. I saw an interview with the Kidz the other night, and the message was simple...There not here to start clothing lines or be in movies, there here for the music and that`s what makes Kidz In The Hall kick ass!!..CN Kidz In The Hall - Wheelz Fall Off (06 Til) Kidz In The Hall - Hypocrite
